The long drive from Picton to Kaikoura was broken by wine tasting at Cloudy Bay vineyard.
What a class act. $10 for five v small glasses of CB current best, two not sold anywhere but from the vineyard.

The small portions were just right to cure my thick head from the night before with Raines and Dunc, but not too much to put us over for continuing the long drive.
Naturally we bought a few bottles, of the vintage 2008 fizz, to sup later
